  • Comments: This video is, of course, a Messiah profile. It draws a link between Messiah's purpose, and what the angels had planned - to destroy the earth. Those who aren't familiar with the manga may miss some of this, but I expect they were confused by that section of the anime itself - not knowing who the characters shown were anyway. And the video ends up coming down more to an idea that the angels failed to destroy the humans, so a human makes his own angel to finish the job.

    ::NOTES::
    For those who don't know, the blonde angel sitting behind the desk, and again in the cell is Michael, Chihaya's adopted father and one of the few on Eden who were against the destruction. Taki is the pale blue-haired android that Chihaya first shows his wings to - but he's also the first 'creation' the doctor made, and learning of his death is what led him to create Messiah - his last creation.
