Shin Hatsubai video #87 wrapped fairly quickly, interfered at a minimum with other stuff I was supposed to be doing, and accomplished most of what it was supposed to. It's more or less equal parts character-definition and straight videography, which makes it somewhat of a departure from what I normally tend to consider valid AMVage. Music will continue to drive SH videos in the future as it has in the past; this song demanded this sort of treatment and the video as such does not represent a new direction. In terms of cutting speed, I broke the previous mark again, approaching steadily towards 1 SPC.
Effects are really simple; artifacting would really break up the purpose of the song as well as fight against the organic nature of the music. I think two slowdowns, one or two accels, a grayscale, and an interleave.
Shin Hats Self-Grade: A-/B+. It's a two-minute video with obscure source and a no-longer-existing garage band. It's decent, and people didn't bitch too much when it was shown in public.

Fun quick comment: "good but u only only concentrate on one character". Well, yes. That's why it says "Character Profile" up top. :roll:
