  • Comments: Well it has been a long time since I made a video. It has been about 2 years, I believe, since the last one. This video, I finished in kind of a hurry, only because I had a lot of problems the day that I put it out, the AVS files got screwed up because the program I used to make them did not support the avisynth update that I had recently done. And my dumb self didn’t realize it and saved the file all screwed up, -_^ which removed about half of the footage that I had used. Luckily I had a high quality version of the file. Sorry about the size, but the org server can go fast, so it isn’t too bad for those with High Bandwidth connections.

This video was very much fun for me, I had the idea, for a long time, to make this video. I used Taking Back Sunday's Great Romances Of The 20th Century. The song is off of their first CD, Tell All Your Friends. It is by far my most favorite song of theirs. I used the, everyone’s favorite, Anime Evangelion. If you have ever heard this song before, and you have seen Evangelion, it seems to fit very well with the Asuka/Shinji Romance theme. After I heard the song I started seeing the scenes in my head. I then bought my new PC and I started editing about 3 weeks before the release date of this video. This was the longest time that I have ever spent on an AMV. It is all DVD footage, so it was a brand new experience for me, I have never used Solely DVD footage for an AMV. Needless to say I am very happy with the outcome of the AMV, there are only a few parts I wanted to change, but did not have a chance to change them before my project got screwed up. That’s about all I have to say. Oh yeah, the intro and outro is Naruto to Reveille. I used Down To None for the Intro and Plastic for the Outro.

One last thing, thanks to Mikey for lending me the Evangelion Series on DVD, thanks man. =p
His profile is here http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_myprofile.php?user_id=48171 he has a couple of AMVs that you can check out. ^_^

Taking Back Sunday - Great Romances Of The 20th Century

    September never stays this cold
    Where I come from
    And you know
    I’m not one for complaining,
But I love the way you roll
Excuses off the tip of your tongue
As I'd slowly fall apart (slowly, quietly, slowly)
    Fall apart...

This won’t mean a thing come tomorrow
And that’s exactly how I’ll make it seem
    Cause I'm still not sleeping,
Thinking I’ve crawled home from worse than this

    So please, please (please)
I’m running out of sympathy (I'm running out of sympathy)
And I never said I’d take this
I never said I'd take this lying down

    She says
"Come on, come on, let’s just get this over with"
    She says
"Come on, come on, let’s just get this over with"
(I never said I’d take this lying down, let's just get this over with,
and I've crawled home from worse than this)
    She says
"Come on, come on, let’s just get this over with"
    She says
    "Come on, come on.."

(You always come close but this never comes easy)
    I still know everything
(You always come close but this never comes easy)
    I still know everything
(You always come close but this never comes easy)
    I still know everything
    You always come so close...
I still know everything, I still know everything, I still know...

(You always come close but this never comes easy
You always come close but this never comes easy
You always come... you come in close)

I never said I'd take this lying down
I never said I'd take this lying down
I never said I'd take this lying down
But I've crawled home from worse than this

If it's not keeping you up nights
    (Then what’s the point)
    Then what’s the point
    (Then what’s the point)
    Then what’s the point

    I'm in your room
    Is this turning you on
    Am I turning you on?

    I'm in your room
    Are you turned on?

I'm on the corner of your bed,
    Do you hear me?
    Are you turned on,
    Are you turned on?

    That's It. Enjoy!
