The original idea for this music video changed around several times before I finshed with it. It originally was going to be just about Cherry from Saber Marionette J (Cherry.. Cherry Lips.. aha.. no), but then I didn't feel the song matched her personality. I felt it was more fitting to Lime from SMJ also, but then I knew I wouldn't have nearly enough footage so it was going to be about all three Sabers, but that isn't original. My next idea was going to be a "Girls Kick Ass" style video, but again, not original. Then it occured to me, Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop, Lime from Saber Marionette J, Lina Inverse from Slayers, Tira Misu from Sorcerer Hunters, and Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion were all voiced by the same seiyuu (voice actress), Megumi Hayashibara. My idea had finally reached something original.

All the characters have the same personalities types: Crazy, insane, hilarious, and violent tendencies. The only character which doesn't always fit the category was Rei. I was very reluctant to use Rei in this music video for two reasons: One being the fact her personality isn't anything like the other characters voiced by Megumi Hayashibara, and the other reason being the only footage of Neon Genesis Evangelion I had was from my friends fansubs. I only wanted to use two key clips involving her, and the quality isn't terrible, although it does stand out a bit.

You really need to pay attention to the lyrics during the song to get all the jokes or to match up what's happening in the scenes. This is my first serious attempt at lip syncing which I tried to do as often as I could throughout the video. There are other characters lip syncing the lyrics besides the main four girls, sort of as if they were singing to their fellow anime characters from the respective animes. I also used 4 transitions from Premiere during what I thought was the high point of the song, that being a star transition between scenes showing the main four characters I focused on as the stars of the music video. The transitions are very fast and subtle, but I though it worked well.

Just some other little notes that I think people may wonder about. The scene of Faye shooting everyone is completely intentional to have the carry over scenes. It's not a mistake. You also may wonder why some of the scenes repeat again at the end of the music video. It's not that I was running out of footage, but instead of placing entirely new clips of the characters, I decided to somewhat "recap" the key scenes again to make the video more effective.
