  • Comments: First be warned this was my Christmas gift to myself, so some of the choice of...effects, may seem cheesy. I know this. I like them. I used them knowing you might find them cheesy, because I like them.


    This is a profile of Kurama, concerning him, his life (past and present), and his loved ones. You'll see quite few important scenes from YYH, so beware of spoilers.

    The main idea for this comes from two places, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (long pause for the laughs and boos), and one of Rose Thorne's fics, called "The Hardest Thing." The Buffy reference is a quote saying, "The hardest thing in this world is to live in it." That's the idea here - Kurama goes through a lot in his two lives, much of it bad. As a result, he's protective of the good things in his life - his human mother, and his friends - while suffering through the challenges necessary to live his new 'human' life. It's a balance of sorts, so don't be surprised that I've mixed in cute and happy scenes amid the more disturbing ones. It's sort of like holding your banner over your head during war - so you know what you're suffering (fighting) for.
