• Comments: My 11th Video. Seriously, this makes my other work look like crap. I am really proud of the progress I have made with this. I worked on it for a month, with 2 weeks for dvd ripping, converting, & cutting into clips, then 2-4 hours a night for editing.
  
  On a side note, Bloodlust is only in the video for one cut. I wanted to change the anime to emphasize a dramatic change in tempo.
  
  The lip sync happened mostly by accident at first, but I ran with it. It's more implied than anything, but I liked assigning the voices to different characters, esp. Alucard. I learned different ways to get the timing better, like cutting out certain mouth movements you don't want.
  
  Digital effects were mostly darking & blurring, but at one point I really played with Alucard's head to make it match the previous clips, which were taken from a music video trailer on the 1st dvd.
  
  I used footage from almost every episode, and at least some scenes from each disk. If it took up my entire hard drive, it's got to be good! I introduced different characters as the video progressed.
  
  Technically speaking, I'm pretty happy with the way the different gunshots and helicopters synced up with the sounds. I ended up showcasing different sets of sounds as the video progressed, & that keeps it from being boring. The longest cut is the one with Walter at the very begining. It would have been even longer if I hadn't cut it for his lip sync. The cuts get shorter & shorter as the video progresses, til the long interlude scene. I like to way I tied in different scenes with their counterparts in the trailer video. For example, the shot of Alucard in the begining, then the one later with the moon in the background. I noticed a few of the shots are similar, esp. the one of the anonymous guy in the video, but I assure you I used no shot twice, save for lip sync purposes.
  
  Another note on the video part: I thougght the lyrics went: In the video, In the video, you're the victim, NOT Inhale, Inhale, you're the victim. I chose to interpret it the original way, so I only used to 2nd lyric only at the very end.
  
  I used the freak vampire becuz his body was affected by the freak chip, hence somatic.
