• Comments: Finally my first Akira video, my first Darwin’s Waiting Room video as well. This idea stuck me a few months ago, while listening to Orphan. Their first track is Feel So Stupid (Table 9) and I got hooked on this song. I felt that Akira would fit this song well and I am very pleased with the results. I focused mainly on Tetsuo’s feelings toward Kaneda, about how he feels like he cannot do anything by himself and that he has to always rely on Kaneda, or his friends, to save him. This may not be the most original concept, but I feel that this song fits to this theme.
  
  I love this video; this is my best edited video to date. I actually tried some effects in this video. I edited the hell out of Akira, it got to the point that I started to run out of initial footage, to sync up that still fit the mood I was going for in the scene. For the most part of this video I used rubber-band fades. I also used three effects, Black & White, Invert and Find Edges with motion and transparency layered. I tried to base this video on mostly hard cuts and fades.
  
  That’s about it for the video description; I used The End of Evangelion for the intro and the Song 99 With An Anchor by A Thorn For Every Heart for both the Intro and the Ending. I loved editing this video and I hope you love watching this video.
