  The best thing to do is forget all you know about Noir. This video does not follow the Noir storyline at all.
  
  Instead, it is a love story, following the lyrics of the music, with the main character being Mierelle (aka "The Romancer).
  
  Mierelle and Kirika have "that kind of relationship" (wink, wink), but accept a mission which is nothing more than bait to lure them in to a meeting with Chloe ("The Stranger", a la the song).
  
  Chloe is very obsessed with Mierelle. She wants to be her lover, but Kirika is in the way.
  
  It is the beginning of a love triangle...
