  • Comments: This is the second Version of my AMV "Meine Ex". It contains much better video material and no subtitles anymore which was the main reason for me to create a second version. Some scenes are different in the original Video, therefore this AMV is a bit more than a remastered version of the first one.

    The AMV contains mostly Neon Genesis Evangelion Footage, the other Animes play only a supporting part.

    The Song is in german and I think it content fits ähm... in some way with the relationship between Shinji and Rei. I'm afraid that it's not as entertaining when you don't understand the lyrics, but I hope you give it a try.


    I made a translation of the lyrics, hopefully without to much errors in it:

    My girl was my one and only, and - entre nous - she was also beautiful.
    The body of her was sweet, as the one of the Krupps
    - What was his name? - "Doerper".

    Last night my girlfriend exploded,
    I didn't expected this, therefore I am blood-smeared.
    One can say, I am quite irritated.
    Last night my girlfriend exploded.

    I immediately called the police and said : "Get here fast!"
    My girlfriend is passé, like a China cracker "D".
    Suddenly her parts flew all around around me.
    No one wonders that I am sad.
    Not only did I lose my girl,
    no, also the bedclothes are gone.
    I just wanted to kiss her, suddently it made boom.
    Just now she lay beside me, now she lies everywhere - spread in the room.

    Last night my girlfriend exploded,
    fortunately I wore an integral helmet, therefore nothing happened to me.
    Who could suspect that she reacts in such a way?
    Last night my girlfriend exploded.

    As my first love spontaneously stood in flames,
    I stood there laughing out loud.
    The next one was kidnapped by extraterrestial ones,
    I thought about it much.
    My girlfriend number three was soon gone, too
    she petrified, it wasn't quite naturally.
    But as the fourth exploded I began to realise,
    to be the girlfriend of mine wasn't very safe.

    Last night my girlfriend exploded,
    I didn't expected this, therefore I am blood-smeared.
    Who could suspect she would explode in such a way?
