• Comments: This video was track #6 in the VG3 project this year. I took a different approach to this video as opposed to my other video game videos. For Perfect Ghost I decided to go for a more cinematic feel as that is the idea I gained from the sound of the track. Thus the combination of anime and video game parallells the two so that they act to tell the same story. So I drew a comparison between Joanna Dark and Makoto Kusanagi and played them out as the same character. Thankfully there were a lot places where the game and anime synch up. From weapons, to level designs and mechanics (i.e. the cloaking) which made it all the easier to create a single universe between the two. The only regret I have regarding this video is that there was no footage to synch to the tank in Ghost in the Shell. There aren't many bosses in Perfect Dark and not a tank amongst them so I irrevecably didn't use much game footage for the final battle.
