• Comments: This video features the rivalry/friendship between Tezuka Kunimitsu and Fuji Syusuke. It's told mostly from Fuji's perspective, looking at his long-postponed match against Tezuka, and his jealousy toward Ryoma. I consider this semi-canon romance, shounen ai, but if you didn't see any chemistry between them in the series, you can probably view this as 'friends-only.' I didn't use anything that the anime didn't supply me, so it really depends on how you take it.
  
  Title: This comes from something Fuji said during his match - Tezuka asked him once where the 'real him' was, since he never played at full strength. During the match, Fuji says something along the lines of "The real me is right here, when I'm playing against you." It ties in with Tezuka noting that the 'sleeping lion has awakened,' since it's the first time we see Fuji going all out.
