Another video which might better be described as 'goth' than horror, this turned out to be one of the weirdest ideas I have ever turned into an AMV (topped principally by #36 for strangeness and #37 for oddness in combination). Shin Hatsubai video #6, this was actually released with a custom audio edit the day before Iced Earth's Horror Show, from which it is drawn, streeted in the US. I missed beating the European releasedate by six hours.
Fun (?!) SH trivia: This video was slated to use Metallica's "The House That Jack Built" (you know, the OTHER good song off Load), but that idea was scrapped when I not only couldn't get ahold of the song on CD, but also ended up with way too little source. Working from only 2 subbed 22-minute OAVs is not a good way to practice Hasshin Ryu.
Shin Hats Self-Grade: B/B+. A good vid but hampered by a lack of source. If I had had two more OAVs to play with (I only have vol. 1), this could easily have been an A.
