• Comments: This song languished without a video source for the longest time as I pondered what could match up to something this cool. After doing a lot of lyrical association I decided on the first Ranma movie, since it mixes mysticism with enough weirdness and humor to match up with the gods of German power metal. Again, this is something of a comedy video, but that doesn't mean it's any less well put together. The biggest joke, though, is the 'storyline'; there are spoilers, and then there's how the video ends (this actually happened mostly by accident, but you _can_ make sense of it). Which is the real end of the movie? Watch both and find out!
  
  This was the first vid I did internal reuse of clips on, and I did it twice. The first time, when Mousse gets the pickles dumped on him, it works, and the second time, when Genma is just laughing at the end, it doesn't. This was a fun vid to put together, just with being able to play off and around with all the visual gags and big tongue-in-cheek German power metal melodics. By the way, Shin Hatsubai video #10 -- originally announced under a different title, but that one sucked. This video will never be entered in a convention, because one of its primer jokes revolves around matching a certain cut with subtitles to a certain lyrical phrase, and with fan-done subtitles it loses all its effects.
  
  Shin Hats Self-Grade: B+. Sure, there are parts and things I could have done better, but it's a damn good vid as is, and it was fun to watch it come together.
