  This is a tounge-in-cheek Yami no Matsuei video that recasts the Evil Mr Badnasty, Muraki, as... erm... a girl.
  
  A silly idea, yes.

  I was given this slot on the DDR 2nd Non-stop Mix Project after the creator was waaaaaay too busy to be able to finish it in time. After much brain-scratching, this was the only idea I could come up with given the footage I had available to me. Not having any anime with girl-after-lots-of-boys I had to resort to boy-after-lots-of-boys.
  
  It hasn't even been premiered properly yet as part of the DDR project (that happens at the big showing at AWA) but it's already caused a little interest. Apparently this one is going to be pretty popular with the fangirl crowd, and it's hardly surprising given the prettiness of the show mixed with the upbeat nature of the video.
  
  The squeel-factor is quite high on this video, apparently. Sorry about that.
  
  It also seems to have already partly inspired a cosplay routine o.o;;;
  
  It's not what I'd call my best video ever - it was slightly rushed due to being a backup editor and I didn't have the necessary disk space to edit progressively so there are some visual qualities of the video that have suffered due to using an interlaced source.

  Technical:
  
  The footage is taken indirectly from the japanese dvd release of Yami no Matsuei. It was a version that my friend had privately fansubbed and have made mpeg2 prints for distribution. Unfortunatelly I did not have instant access to the raw footage and was short on time so had to use the mpeg2 fansub print. These were hard subbed so the footage was made widescreen to remove subtitles but the quality is still ok.
  
  The audio quality is probably the worst element here as I was only sent an mp3 of the track that I had to do for the DDR project. The final ddr version will have good audio but my copy used an mp3 source :/
  
  Many images were hand edited in Adobe Photoshop and this program was also used for creating various masks.
  
  All other editing was done in Adobe Premiere.

  Note: You might see this video and think it contains spoilers but actually it doesn't - the ending of this video is fabricated by me using scenes from the anime and showing them out of their original context ^_^
