REMARKS:
This was made for the first annual AWA Masters competition. I actually used three audio sources -- one from a Saturday Night Live "Star Trek" inspired "Love Boat" parody skit, another from the theme song of the original anime source (Star Blazers, the American dub of Space Battleship Yamato), and the final one from the main song used in the video (the Love Boat theme). Only one video could win in Masters, and only extremely skilled video editors competed. I didn't win, but I was among an incredibly skilled group of competitors, all but one of whom likewise didn't win.
The anchors and even the animated title starburst zoom effect were made with images created in Photoshop and manipulated by keyframes in Final Cut Pro.
