Comments:
Originally, I wanted to make the greatest AMV ever made. So I started working on it and then all these tomatoes started popping up out of nowhere and eating all the anime characters I was using in my video. All I could do was sit and watched as tomatoes ravaged my video. I decided to render what was left so you all could see this attack of the killer tomatoes.
On a more serious note:

Some editing notes
I suppose I should say something about why I went with more realistic looking tomatoes instead of cartoon ones even though the cartoon ones would work better compositing-wise. Well, there's a few reasons behind why I went with realistic tomatoes as opposed to real ones: First off, I can't really draw to save my life, so making my own was out. All the cartoony tomatoes I found weren't at all the angles I wanted to be able to use, whereas I did get the angles with pictures of real tomatoes. I wanted to spoof the cheesiness of the movie, so I felt realistic tomatoes would be cheesier. Plus, I wanted to make the tomatoes feel very foreign to the world of anime, so the more realistic type stands out that much more.
