Free Ripping program

So does anyone know a free dvd ripping program you can just download? I wish there was a thread topic, "I've never done this, help devirginize me" cause I really am completely clueless about how you make an amv, or ANY kind of video for that matter, any help is appreciated.

Depending on what you are ripping, I use a mix of Ripit4me+DVD Decrypter.

It's all free. Just a bit outdated, then there's dvd fab.
