It was only until the ending of last year that I realized how incredibly dull that year was. Everything excited that happened, happened in December; I went to my first live concert (Trans Siberian Orchestra) and I saw the most incredible movie - Les Miserables- and almost cried with everybody else in the theater. So I decided, 2013 is not going to be as dull. Resolutions? I have a few. Be happier, stay motivated, stop obsessing over the past and over thinking the future and enjoy every moment in the present. I hope everybody else will start the new year in high spirits!

Hey everybody! I'm currently working on a project right now and I have a quickie amv that's finished but I'm too lazy to render. Like I said in my previous post, I'm writing this journal so that you guys can get to know me a little better. First of all I wanted to explain a little about the origin of my names. My username msteapot, was something I came up with mostly because I love tea. Back in my home country we drink tea as much as Americans drink coffee. There are some coffee lovers in my country but for the most part coffee is usually served on Sunday mornings at breakfast or at funerals. As for my studio name - Sentimental Circus - that I
stoleborrowed from a cute Asian stationary brand of the same name. I really like all their stuff , seriously I'm a sucker for cute stationary!
Oh and before I forget, happy (belated) Halloween everyone! Hope you guys had fun dressing up, trick-or-treating and/or watching movies! I watched the Disney movie Halloweentown with my sister - mostly because I'm too weeny to watch an actual horror film.

I figured I should start using this blog thingy to tell you guys a little more about myself and my studio. Hopefully I can make a post about once a month-I'm not really big on writing XP First off, I've been watching anime for over 10 years, besides Disney anime is what pretty much made my childhood. I remember seeing an amv about 6 (or 7) years ago...and I was simply amazed-it was the first amv I'd seen. Looking back now it was a really simple amv but it had alot feelings in it. Rather than special effects the amv's high points were its narration and atmosphere and it followed (almost) every beat and matched the lyrics perfectly. And there it was...I had a moment and thought "I want to do this." Everytime I make an amv now those are the points I try to incorporate in my videos. It is also what I look for in amvs. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love special effect amvs too! I've seen some pretty amazing effect amvs - those darn Einsteins of editing! And I hope to learn AE some time in the future. Is it weird that I feel a little silly writing this? I feel like I'm talking to myself xD
