  I had this idea last year using different sources. I had started the video but only did the beginning and one part in the middle. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to gather my thoughts and do what I truly wanted to do with this video using the source I had.
  
  About two weeks before I started this I had listen to the song again and started thinking about it. It began to haunt me until I finally decided to do something about it. I had the sources that would make it work.
  
  First off, i want to mention that i edited the audio... a few parts didn't work well so i decided to cut it down. lyrics:

  The video is about love I guess. Loneliness, heartbreak and uncertainty. My original idea used Hoshi no Koe. I think this show portrays loneliness very well and worked well with what I wanted. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien is a great show. Very dramay and worked very well portraying heartbreak. The show itself shows a lot of that and I tried to put that into the video. Finally Yume de Aetara (If I See You in MY Dreams)... it’s a relativity old show but I love it. The show is full of misunderstandings and uncertainty. I've had the DVDs for a while but it wasn't until I started editing this new one that I realized that it worked so well.
  
  The video is laid out in a strange way. There are parts of "reflection" and parts of "truth". The reflection portions are more or less flashbacks. I tired to do something different here and used a mixture of a diffuse glow + b&w using a luma transparency. I think it created a nice mellow toned scene that doesn’t really stick out as much as the other scenes.
  
  I also tried to use the lyrics in some parts as sarcasm or portray the opposite of what is really happening... mostly this comes into play when the verse:
  
  "Safe to say from here,
  You’re getting closer now,
  We are never sad cause we are not allowed to be"
  
  I showed the two sitting on the tree limb and being surrounded by the flower petals and overall being "happy". Then immediately it changes to the completely opposite. To me this how I wanted to show their uncertainty. They are happy, but deep inside they don't know what’s going to happen next.
  
  Finally, "Rain" itself. For me rainy weather has never been a happy time. I always sit there wishing the sun will come out and take it away. That is sort of another reason why i made the video. That wish that the sun shine through the clouds and make all my worries go away.
