• Comments: This video came about because I really liked Desert Punk, and I figured the song would fit nicely with this anime series. However, the odd thing about it is that Desert Punk doesn't always exclusively use his guns to battle the bad guys. So... I had to do a little creativity in a few things. It was sometimes hard to find some scenes for some lines, especially the third and fourth verses of the song. Especially the line with "Little Fluffy took a round, better take him to the vet" -- the only way I could make it work is if I threw in a cameo appearance by the stray kitty and the Elric brothers from FMA. It turned out fine.
  
  I also wanted to dabble a little itty bit with some of the fan service in the video. There were a couple of obvious places to put the fan service with the lyrics.... so I went with them.
  
  Again, it's not so much that he's trigger happy -- hence the title "Watch Out It's Desert Punk" instead of incorporating "Trigger Happy" -- it's just that he's just himself: a snotty, gun-loving, money-grubbing, breast-adoring young adult. I wanted to capture the spirit of that in this video.
  
  This video made its worldwide premiere at Anime Central 2006. Although this video was only shown exactly once at Animazement 2006, I did get some kudos from a few people saying that I *didn't* go the "usual" route in doing a video set to this song. Once again, it's not all about the gunplay, after all. Enjoy.
