• Comments: "In the Sun" was entered as an expo entry in the Tsubasacon 2007 AMV showing. It wound up in a Sweet Kinda Romantic Shoujo Video block with two other expo videos, and it was weird and cool to see it on the screen. :)

  "Other" in this case is a mood piece. Optimism. I don't think it's Drama as it's usually meant, but it's not Upbeat either. It's kinda in the middle of those two.

  Piano is a ten-episode slice-of-life shoujo series about a shy middle-school girl who is good at playing the piano, but worries about everything else. She worries about her playing, and the boy she has a crush on, and what she's going to do when she grows up, and everything else in her life. Her perky best friend gives her pep talks, her family gives her befuddled support, and her broody piano teacher doesn't help a whole lot because he's too busy brooding. And that's about all. It's very simple and sweet.
  
  Miu and Yuuki's friendship in this series gives me the warm fuzzies. It's a little naive and dramatic, but touching. That and the little interconnected stories that surround Miu's life are the basis of this AMV. It's also simple.
  
  
  About 45 seconds were cut out of the song - the full instrumental section is great, but I didn't want to have to stretch too much.
  
  As for the visuals, the only effects are the "photo" motif and a bunch of image work to cover lipflap. So it's not all that sticky-outy.
