Comments:
Its weird how this video came up, I just finished remaking three old EVA AMVs I made a year or two years ago and I was listening to this song and like all AMV ideas it just popped in there. I slapped my head "why didn't I think of this AMV a long time ago". So I guess I decided this would be the next AMV I would do since the last one I was gonna do before this ended up scrapped. The problem was how was I gonna pull it off, try to put in as much anime as I can find fan subbed/rented/owned anime I can get. I have a pretty good collection of anime in my house but that enough wasn't enough to fill all the names in the anime. I rented a few anime DVDs and it got further, then I had to get some fan subs to fill in what I wanted to do, I spent a good 2 months planing which goes where and how would I make the AMV. After christmas when I got some of the anime I ordered I started immediately, for the last half of December and the first half of January I spent time capturing the clips I needed as well as getting more ideas. When I had all of what I wanted th eonly problems I had was how would I present the chorus parts, and the begining. After much thought and playing of the song to the point I was sick of it I got all figured out. Then I spent two weeks working on the AMV, one week laying out what I planned perfectly, and putting it which was at that time the first draft of what I thought should be int he chorus and begining, the second week I spent time disecting the weaknesses i felt the AMV, it did have a few and after observation from myself and typical friends at the end of the week I finished the AMV. Spent two days removing the subtitles and the letter boxed scenes. I put much work into making this AMV as good as I can get it, when I thought of this AMV I wanted to see if I could break the record of most anime used in an AMV. I don't know if I broke the record or not. I have to say while working on this AMV there were times I thought this maybe my breakthrough AMV. At the end I knew it wouldn't be the breakthrough video because of the fact that it doesn't use so overkill amounts of special effects and such like most AMVs I see have. Bottom line I tried my best to make this AMV as good as I can get it, if you don't like it sorry, if you do then hey great. But I am a old fashion AMV maker i like making stuff without so many special effects I only use them when I think I need them. But hey enough talk see the AMV for yourself, I hope you enjoy it in total it took me 3 months to do in most ways.
The to Local version of History In Anime is the censored version which means you will not see the nudity in it. Since I censored it the quality is not entirely as good as the original video but that was the price I had to pay for censorship. This AMV will most likely be participating in Animethon 10.
