    Well, here's my ACen video. I'm fully convinced, after having seen it on the big screen and spending probably over 80 hours editing it, that it sucks. I enjoyed making it at any rate, so it's not like it was wasted time.

    If you need some context for the idea behind this video, it's basically about the relationship between Reki (taller, black-haired girl) and Rakka (shorter, brown-haired girl) and how Reki's death affects Rakka. It's told from shifting perspectives and the concept will be much clearer to those who have seen the anime, but I still think it's pretty accessible. Maybe :/

    I made this video as a dedication to my youth pastor, who died on May 27th, 2006 (why I waited so long to release it). He and I were very close, and I wanted to parallel the kind of relationship we had using the two main characters from Haibane Renmei. It wasn't difficult, as Reki and Rakka's relationship in the anime was very reminiscent of how my youth pastor and I related. The problem was that in the anime, Reki doesn't die (not in the traditional sense, at least)...so I had to take a few creative liberties ;)

    So...here you go, I hope you enjoy it, even though by now I really don't like it at all. For a much, MUCH more detailed description of the history of and work that went into this video, as well as thanks to beta testers and important people, read the novel of text I wrote here.
