    So here's my video that I made for the AWA Pro Contest this year. The idea actually came to me around September of last year, but I didn't have all of the sources that I wanted, so I ended up waiting until recently to do it. "The Adventure," by Angels and Airwaves, is an amazing song full of so much emotion, and my main goal with this video was to create a video that matches the intensity of the song. I wanted to use the relationships of characters in different anime series to portray how strong the bonds between two people can be, and how it can be hard to live without them. Overall, I was going for a more positive, uplifting video, showing that no matter how tough things can get, it's always possible to pull through it all and have a new beginning.

    This video was quite the endeavor for me in a few different ways. I'd never worked with multiple anime in one video before, so it was kind of a challenge for me getting the sources to all blend without any of them seeming out of place. Plus, this was also my first try making a video on my own with the use of Adobe After Effects. I'd say that I spent more time on this video compared to any of my others, but mainly because I spent a ton of time messing around with AE until I could create exactly what I wanted to do as far as effects go. ;p

    Programs used: Sony Vegas 6.0, After Effects Professional 7.0, Adobe Photoshop, Avisynth, VirtualDubMod

    x264 version is on local...I recommend only downloading the xvid if your computer can't handle the .mp4, which has a much smaller filesize and better quality.
