  I've been meaning to do a light hearted short video for a while now. I've also had a Porco Rosso video in the works for a few years now (well, as in the works as it can be since I lost everything in a HD failure a few years ago) and have been wanting to get back to work on it. So when I heard this song as a possible choice for an IC I just knew there was no better time to rip the DVD.
  
  I know what you may be thinking. Yes, this is another video based off of an IC I did in the SuperIC channel. However before you pass final judgment on it I must say that this is by far the best video I have ever put together in that kind of a format.
  
  The first thing I did when I heard this song was storyboard a story for the video. I had a concept. However, due to the short form of the song and lack of time for editing I wasn't able to pull off the full story I had laid out for this video, but only a portion of it. However, even with this small portion a few of the main points still show up perfectly.
  
  After the competition I knew I had something really nice going. However in the time frame given in an IC I just couldn't perfect the pacing and sync. So I went back and kept tweaking with the video until I felt it finally showed what I wanted it to, how I wanted it to, and at the perfect pace.
  
  I'm very pleased with the outcome and hope that you will have as much fun watching this video as I did making it! Enjoy!

  I really like the way the music forces a slow section on you and then forces you into a fast paced section. This helped the storytelling greatly. From the point porco is shot down to the moment his plane is ready for flight the music helps set the mood. People are watching him. Finally they apparently couldn't wait anymore and tried to get to him. However he takes that time to escape in his newly finished plane and take flight. Or try to. He still had a few hurdles to overcome in order to finally take flight again. And finally he flies off into the sun.
