    This is the first full-length Sony Vegas amv I have ever made. I did not include too many effects because I did not want to destroy the art. The beauty of this anime is what I wanted to bring out. I was going for sweet and elegant, but overall, I sought to give viewers a sort of "bittersweet" kind of video. "A Thousand Miles Per Second" concentrates only on one of the couples - Tamaki and his first love. The purpose of that was to show my opinion of the movie from beginning to end. Additionally, it was created that way to show the movie's theme of "distance."

    Extra Background:
    There are 2 versions of this video. The one on Youtube is the original .wmv that I made for a friend's birthday. It was later entered into the Anime America AMV Contest '08. The 2nd version on AMV.org is only slightly different with 3 effect changes, a different dedication, and a shorter ending. I made those changes because those parts of my video always bugged me, and I wanted my video to look a little better for Animazement '09. The reason the dedication was changed is because I wanted to do something special for my cousin who attended AZ09 with me. I was confident that my video might win something. I approximated about a 70% chance while I crossed my fingers. Therefore, I put my cuz's name in their so she could get some recognition if I won. I'm still very good friends with the original dedication. :) The 2nd version is available for download here. It will not be uploaded to Youtube due to WMG copyright complications.
