This is what happens when you want to make a video for AWA Pro and can't think of anything. I've always wanted to try and make something with this audio. I was pretty much out of ideas and I was trying to think of something I could do with the footage i've already ripped.
I had already ripped FMP for an other video and converted it to Lagarith for editing. I thought it would be an interesting idea to turn around the relationship between these two characters and see if I could make it disturbing and violent. The audio is from the tale end of a song. It's like this extra piece of audio, odd.
I knew this was going to be difficult from the start. While editing the video i became somewhat uncomfortable about it. The subject matter isn't something I generally like. I'll be the first to say that this video was rushed. Not only did I not want to edit it, I also had a deadline.
Originally there were three sections to this video. The beginning was set the scene: girl is being stalked and starting to feel paranoid. The second part was supposed to finally introduce the characters. In the version I sent to AWA Pro this is the long ass telephone section. Basically what you are seeing is my blocked out timeline with very little refinements. If I had more time I would've gone back over it and done something more, or cut it out entirely. The final section is the confrontation: boy stalks girl, girl is paranoid, boy attacks girl, shit hits the fan.
The last section was where I wanted the meat of the video to be. I think if I had more time to refine the beginning setup the video would've come out a lot better. Unfortunately my hard drive crashed with my sources on it. I could re-rip the source but honestly, I don't really care. The video was more or less an experiment and I think i've done enough to get a result.
That said, the version that was sent to AWA Pro and this one are different. I cut out the middle section. I think it still works out the way I wanted it to but the video definitely needs more work. If you don't like the video, I understand, i'm not too thrilled about it either. If you do like, glad you can look past the defects.
