    Welp, this vid's been a while coming. Those of you who have followed This Week in AMVs might have heard me talk about it once or twice. Originally I was suppose to make the next Dance vid at 400 fps. However I quickly found that to not be feasible. So I went with the next best thing I could do with the series that you would never expect and probably find completely wrong, make it in HighDef.

    So now we have Dance 7.0, made entirely at a resolution of 1280x720. I kind of put you in a bit of a trance at first, you know, with all of that high quality new anime stuff that actually looks pretty good at that res. Then all of a sudden WHAM! Horribly up scaled animated gifs RIGHT IN YOUR FACE! No stone was left un-turned in increasing the hurt. I hold no qualms about this video. It was made with the pure intent to be bad, and a convention crowd pleaser all at the same time. I know that in reality the video itself isn't HD. I know that animated gifs blown up 600x isn't exactly what you'd call quality ether. But in the end that's kind of the point here. If you had fun watching this video despite the quality, you have just proved my point.

    I had quite a bit of fun working on this project. It's been a bit since I've worked on a truly fun idea. My song choice really kind of came out of nowhere. I tried to follow the standard I set with the rest of the series, using 90s music. However I just couldn't find a song I really liked. Then one day I'm listening to house mixes and this one mix of Spin Me Right Round came on. I started bopping my head and it struck me. Why not used this? Sure it isn't technically 90s, but why not? So I sat down and went through my collection and found the best version of the song I could find, technically I think it is the version from the Wedding Singer OST, but who's counting? I kept the house mix on as the credits music. It's DANZEL - You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) for those of you wondering.

    After having made this video I don't know how long it would take me to obtain enough footage to make another. At this point, I don't really know if I should make another. I mean, this vid marks the 6th full installment of the series (as 6.0 was technically made before 5.0 and was done as a joke) but also when you think about it it's really only the 5th true installment due to 2.0 actually being only a beta version due to having lost the video files in a hard drive crash.

    Either way, I enjoyed working on this and I hope you'll enjoy watching as much as I enjoy the vid.
