  Profile of Mikage Souji. It helps to know his story inside-out, since he's a minor character and this video attempts to shove a whole lot of stuff in a fairly small space. Or, ask me. The whole thing was put together pretty meticulously for as low-tech and simple as it is, in that I tried to have every shot go after some point and spent a lot of time trying to fit it all together the way I liked.
  
  Anyway, at my AMV page, which is a wreck, I wrote out a long, long explanation of all of the relevant parts of the series and how they were used in this video. In short, this is a profile of a minor villain in Utena - a bland scholar who, after a traumatic incident, snapped and remade himself into an evil mastermind. Evil, and delusional; the world he inhabits has little to do with reality. His present self and past self are at odds through this video, which deals with how he constructed this new world (complete with alternate history and people who, strictly speaking, don't exist) around himself and, eventually, took it apart.
  
  I think this might be the only Mikage-centered video on the .org, and that's... pretty ... well, as a Mikage fan I'm sad, but hey, it's a good mark for this video.
  
  So after I was reminded of it and put it up for the folks on a Mikage fan community, I'll extend that linkage here. I believe the direct and local versions are the same. If you can, try for the local, but the direct is there for non-members.
  
  Enjoy, once again. I'll keep this up until my lame host shuts off my bandwidth (not likely, since I have more than I usually need) or I need the space for something else. Gotta spread the Black Rose Saga love, people.
