Every now and then, I come up with a dumb idea that makes me laugh.
As the series opens, before all of the wolf-god shenanigans get started, Kraft Lawrence's aspiration in life is to make enough money to open a proper shop, settle down, get married and become a respectable townsperson. That... goes...by the wayside. Sometimes.
Meanwhile, despite the fact that this is not really a harem series, there's at least one, sometimes two women in EVERY TOWN who are throwing themselves at Lawrence. Everybody wants some wandering merchant action, apparently.

Bastard Bearded Irishmen are a local band that does that kinda St.-Patrick's-Day-punk thing. My husband won a copy of their CD in a radio station call-in type situation. It turned out to be quite fun.
