  Well, before you judge my video as just another Shinkai amv, please read what I have to say. I started this video during my semester abroad in Japan on October 12th. I completed about 1/4 of it in a week and then quit because of school work. I picked it back up again 2 days ago to complete it as my New Year's release. I feel pretty good about it, but I'm pretty sure most of you know that this piece was made out of my comfort zone. It's meant to be a character profile/anime tribute, but it may just be one big mess. I'll let you decide! My main goal was just to express a feeling - my personal feeling of emptiness while I was away from my boyfriend in Japan. When I started missing him, I'd listen to this song and think about Shinkai's male protagonists. Oddly enough, I really relate to these characters and enjoy editing with them. So don't judge the source! Judge the artist. Shinkai's portrayal of the effects of distance is pretty accurate. Be 14 hours away from your loved ones for a while and see. xD

  On a side note, oh no... is my first attempt at a multi anime amv. I don't count Eden Me Baby because the movies I used are just continuations of the series, not completely separate works.
