This is a brand new anime music video I decided to make as an excuse to learn about DaVinci Resolve. This video was entirely made with the free version of Resolve! Also, I have an idea of pairing Hellsing with Maroon 5's Pure Imagination for a few years now. The song always had an eerie vibe to it making the lyrics come across slightly more sinister than the original from the Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
All in all this video was completely for fun and gave me something to do during my free time. There really isn't a major theme or underlying message here. I just tried to choose the best shots for what the music was demanding at that time. I definitely had A LOT of fun playing around with the color editor in resolve and I think I came up with some pretty cool combinations and effects! Enjoy!
