• Comments: Hi! So I just upgraded to Vegas Pro, and oh man, I was so excited that I used my entire winter break to learn and make this AMV using this program. Can I just say, as an new AMV editor, I am in love. There are so many things that I struggled to do in Windows Movie Maker that Vegas just does so easily for me. And masking! That stuff is genius! Not that I used to much of it in this particular AMV, but I can see the use for it, and how much fun I would have with this tool at my disposal.
  
  Okay, moving on to the point. When the 2017 version of Beauty and the Beast was announced and this trailer was released, I was literally so excited, because I really love the story of Beauty and the Beast, which is a story of a strong girl who basically didn't need saving from a prince like most other fairy tales. So I saved the trailer because I hoped that if I could find the right anime footage to use. My prayers were answered when I saw the anime, The Ancient Magus' Bride. While the story is not like Beauty and the Beast, I saw all the potential that could be used to make this AMV trailer and so I jumped on the train and started making it. Now this is where I am so glad I upgraded to Vegas. Having various video layers really helped, as well as actually seeing the audio track and the spikes in the audio to be able to mark the phases really helped me find the flow I wanted for this AMV. In my opinion, probably one of my favorites that I have done for this season of editing, and I hope you guys enjoy it! I feel that trailer AMVs is my biggest weakness as an editor because of the major lip syncing and may other things as well, so please let me know what you guys think, as well as any improvement tips.
