Comments: My first AMV

The reason I wanted to make AMVs was so that I could express how a song's music makes me feel emotionally through a visual medium. I chose animation because its my favorite form of visual art... and I love anime. The song I used is an instrumental called "The Birth and Death of the Day" by the fantastic band Explosions in the Sky. Its one of my all-time favorite songs, and I love how it has such a dramatic sound to it. The emotions it makes me feel are very similar to much of the movie I used, Your Name. I came up with a method of cutting up the movie into different "mood" categories for the different parts of the song, this helped me immensely when I started to put the whole thing together. I think I'll use this strategy when making all my next amv's (which I have dozens of ideas for)
