Live It Up Live It Up
    Always Wanted

As I said in the other video descriptions, Chunibyo as a whole is a series I fell deeply in love with when I watched it last year, and I wanted to celebrate my feelings for it by making an AMV for each of its seasons and the movie, Take On Me. This video uses the movie as its source, and it's one big spoiler for the whole thing, so...just be aware, I guess.

In this video, I really wanted to take the focus off of the secondary characters in the series. The first Chunibyo video I released was kind of scattershot in its approach -- although it does have a lot of Rikka and Yuuta, ultimately it's kind of about the relationships all the different characters have with one another and doesn't take an entirely narrative approach; the second video is a character profile on Satone. This video, in contrast, is purely a Rikka/Yuuta deal. I kind of went out of my way to make sure that any other characters got limited screen time, because I really just wanted to focus on Rikka and Yuuta's story.

As a result, this is probably the single most linear video I've ever edited. This is basically the entire movie condensed into three and a half minutes -- there's practically no straying from the chronological progression of the movie itself in the video's scene selection, and it captures most of the movie's main plot points. I don't know how everyone will feel about such an A-to-B approach, but it doesn't bother me as much as it probably should. I wanted this video to tell a clear story, and I really wanted to hit on the emotions that permeate the movie. As a result, it's a bit more down-to-earth than most Chunibyo videos, but I don't know that that's a bad thing.

I'm extremely happy with the result -- this and the previous one might be my favorite videos I've made up to this point. I hope you enjoy it too!

    Technical notes
Edited in Vegas Pro 15, total time was between 15-20 hours. Side note: I like Vegas Pro 15 in a lot of ways, but it's so fricking buggy I'm considering going back to 8. I had to render this out like 4 times because Vegas would insert these garbled garbage frames at random places. I have no idea what causes this and Google searches have yielded nothing. Blah.
