When I heard this track for the first time and looked up the name, back when I couldn't read any kanji at all, I found the translation as 'Flying free or without hindrance'. This is obviously incorrect as the name actually just means 'Flying', but this is what inspired the title of the AMV.
I liked Studio Ghibli's The Wind Rises and it was a natural choice for an AMV about flying. In a way, this is my own little tribute to aviation by using one of Ghibli's tributes to aviation.
I really like how this turned out. I relied a lot on well-timed longer cuts and I experimented a bit with colouring as well. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
Today, I'm also happy because I managed to make my goal of 2 AMVs in a year a reality this year. :D
