  EDL (European Day of Languages) Is a yearly event made by Fooko(On YT) since 2019, where editors are allowed to edit anything in any language (in the world, not only european). It's a good opportunity to edit in your native tongue, or another language that you're close connected with.

  About technical things:
  The quality is a mess, I know. The best rip of this movie I could find was only uploaded recently, and it's still the best we can get. That's what happens when you want to edit with obscure media! Still, the dimension size of the movie is 688x338 and the aspect ratio is 344:169 (????????????????) Which is a mess of confusion to work with. I seriously tried to make an upscale of the whole movie so the pixels wouldn't be so crunchy, but after a month of trying to get into the gist of upscaling, I realized it was completely out of the scope of my habilities.
  I ended up using an built-in effect on AfterFX that kind of does the job, but it still looks rough. If someone out there is willing to help me to upscale this movie still I'd appreciate it so much!
  
  About Bobby's:
  Bobby ni Kubittake is a Madhouse movie from 1985. It's not a "masterpiece" at all, but I'd recommend watching it, you don't lose anything by doing so. At the very least, the ending sequence is worth the watch alone. It's only available to download in torrent and english, so if anyone is interested, I'd be down to make a spanish translation!
  
  About his AMV:
  This was mostly an impulse edit. Right after finishing the movie, I made the proyect and I didn't really know why I chose this song until I was in the middle of the scene selection and realized.
  See, Bobby's an incredibly chill and slow paced movie. Its soundtrack is basically an ad for a city-pop idol, so it's a bit jarring of me to add Argentine punk out of nowhere. But I think it somehow fits. Throughout the story, many awful this happen to bobby like dropping from school, his physical abuse from his father, running away from home. He keeps his care-free demeanor even though nothing is fine, and never takes any compromises either, which is what makes the ending works so well.
  When you listen to this song and read its name 'happier than shit', you can't help but think, "Well, you clearly aren't!" This persistence of maintaining the happy-go-lucky attitude and not processing the ugly is what I feel watching this movie. So I hope I was able to transfer that into this video.
  
  Personal thoughts:
  It's my first vid to submit into EDL finally! I've been meaning to join for a couple of years but something always got in the way. I was nervous and debating myself If I should upload this at all, since it's not like anything I make usually nor is it something that many people would be interested in. Still, I think it's worth uploading it regardless. So if you cared enough to watch it and read this far below, thank you very much. I genuinely appreciate it.
