• Comments: When I picked my track for this year’s, DDR 4th mix project, I had already decided to use The Adventures of Mini Goddess. My idea was to have the Mini Goddesses lip-syncing all the vocals of the song and I worked and completed this prior to my trip to JACON.
  
  When I came back, I wanted to originally just used clips from the Ah! My Goddess OVA series for the background, but decided that to make thing work and look better, I would incorporate the game elements into it.
  
  Hence, I decided to segment the video into parts and use a DDR "pad" worth video and arrow effects in the instrumental places. I looked for a good image of the game pad and finally I downloaded a few very small images and used them as templates to completely made one from scratch in Photoshop. I then captured a ton of frames from both the OVA and Mini Goddess series to use inside the arrows and panels on the pad.
  
  Suddenly, this project got more and more complex. The entire thing was done using After Effects and incorporates over 200 layers. In fact, it got so complicated that I almost lost track of all the layers I used.
  
  So the end result was a track that was completely comprised of compositions with lots of effects and lip-syncing. Nothing like spending a good 200 hours on a DDR track!
