• Comments: At the urging of one of my friends, I checked out the anime SuperGALS!. I was almost afraid that people would question my masculinity if I told people I liked this show. But I soon discovered that a LOT of people like this show, guys and gals alike. It's very funny.
  
  The idea for this AMV literally came to me as I was driving on the Interstate one day.... I had just seen the movie Earth Girls Are Easy again, and one of the songs turned out to be very fitting for SuperGALS!, so I took it and ran with it. Speaking of Ran, the star of the AMV is Ran Kotobuki.... not only is she the star of the show, but also lots of the lines in the song go so well with some of her scenes in the anime.
  
  This took me about 2 weeks to finish and tweak. Special thanks to Ian Roberts (absolut3destiny) for his tip he gave me in the AMV forum... and also for a few abstract ideas as to what scenes I should put in my video.

  Update 5/20/04 - WINNER! Best Staff Video, Anime Central 2004 - and I came right after a video with an AMV using a video game I'll never understand people's fondness for, using music I really don't care for, and for a moment I thought I was going to lose to that video -- but I was pleasantly surprised that the judges had better taste in music that I gave them credit for. ^_^
  
  Thanks for the accolades, and here's hoping for as much good luck at AMA as at ACen.
